Dorman 65229 Oil Drain Plug Piggyback M14-1.50 S.O., Head Size 24Mm Universal Fit

Works for me. Have a 2018 Buick that someone stripped the old plug and we cannot replace the oil pan (it's discontinued already!) so order this and it works. Oil pan is aluminum. Installed piggyback plug with a wrench only and it's almost as good as new.

I spent like 45mins under the car to screw in this thing. It didn't work. Like others are saying, it has to be COMPLETELY stripped thread.Otherwise you have to use a drill to make a hole larger.If you don't have a 2 post lift, it's pain in the a$$ so don't buy this product.

Easy to install and effective product

It won't go in but I rethread the hole from m13 to m15 then used this plug.

THE ORIGINAL FILL PLUG WAS RUSTED AND COULD NOT GET OUT DUE TO TOYOTA RUST ISSUES...GOT THIS, DRILLED A NEW HOLE, USED JB WELD TO FIX THE RUST AND USED THIS PART TO FILL WITH GEAR OIL.WORKED WELL AND HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT

I didn't use this on my car because it's bulky and has pipe threads with no gasket on the piggy back plug.

After stripping the factory oil plug on Miss Piggy while on a 900 mile trip, I thought I would have to tow the bike to a shop or worse back home , ordered this arrived in two days and went on effortlessly and no more leaks as this is steel and has a steel drain plug built in . I used blue loctite to make it semi-permanent repair.

looks like junk - its not going in my oil panthe small plug won't thread into the large plug worth a darnthe "gasket" is as hard as a rock - it won't stop oilthread length is too smallno instructionsthis thing is not worthy of the "Dorman" brand.
