No, this dock allows you to connect up to 4 monitors using one video connection per monitor (directly to the dock).

Q: Can I play media content such as Netflix, Disney+, HBO etc. on macOS?

No, most protected content will not play through our docking stations that use DisplayLink technology.

Q: On macOS, why do I need to enable “screen recording” permissions for the monitors to work?

This permission is required for the DisplayLink driver to access the pixels it needs to extend the screens in macOS. “Screen recording” does not send any data or pixels back to DisplayLink or StarTech.com.
